Church Planting

Who We Are

Ally and I have been married for 8 years.  We met at a Christian camp in 2003 in Cedarville, Ohio.  Long story short, we both attended Liberty University together, where God greatly worked in our lives.  We have 2 little girls, Annabelle and Adelaide, and a new baby on the way.  Over the course of the past 9 years our family has served on staff and attended Fairfield West.  We have loved our time and the people here.  We beleive God has been preparing us for this new adventure and that He has used our home church as a catalyst in our faith to move us forward.  We have learned that believing in Jesus calls us to give our lives away and to go share Jesus with those who do not know him!  Cincinnati is an area that has an interesting culture, but it is increasingly non-Christian.  We want to help people find identity, salvation and belonging in Jesus.

What We Are Doing

The North American Mission Board (NAMB, Southern Baptist) reports that only 13% of the people in the Cincinnati area go to an evangelical church (www.namb.net).  There is a great need.  We believe God is calling us to do something about it.  With the Lord's provision and guidance, we will start a new church in the Cincinnati area.  We will be researching and praying over a few specific areas over the next several months.  Starting June 1, we will be apprenticing with NAMB at Origins Church in West Chester for 1 year.  During this time we will be learning, growing, serving, praying, building a core group and making preparations for an impactful launch.  Also, we will be moving to Sharonville Ohio as a part of our apprenticeship.

How You Can Help

"Prayer is the biggest way that we can receive support.  We believe that God answers prayer.  We believe that if any individual will take the time to pray for us and the people of the Cincinnati area, the result will be impactful.  We believe hearts will begin to return to God.  Of course you can pray for God's provision in our lives.  But please pray God would use us to reach non-Christians.  This is the single most important reason we have chosen to plant a church.  Please pray for deep and significant impact as we share the gospel.  If God puts on your heart to give to us moneterarily, we are grateful for that as well, as we will be making financial adjustments over the next few months.  Just designate your gift by using the "give" link in the main menu of this page.
