The effects of the Corona virus are upon us all, I hope you and your family are safe being assured that God will not forsake us and His promises will never fail us.
The President is calling all Americans to do their part to combat this looming threat to our nation. He is asking all Americans not to gather in groups of 10 or more. Restaurants have been ordered to close their dining rooms and all people encouraged to limit social contact. Although the President has not formally banned the church from meeting, to continue our normal campus gatherings ignores our country’s plea for help and puts our community at a greater risk.
Therefore, we are suspending all campus ministry events and gatherings until further notice. This includes all on campus worship gatherings, campus courses and home gatherings.
We are not shutting down our ministry, but will provide live stream worship, bible studies and life groups along with additional online resources to be available for every age group and demographic.
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.
Remember, “We are better together!” It is not time to abandon our resolve to be the church. We need one another like never before.
